ITALIAN MUSIC HISTORY COURSES
Music is a universal language of communication that goes over linguistic barriers! Our Italian music history course will allow you to understand how this “language” has originated, evolved, and enriched itself from ancient times to the present day.
The course in Italian music history is open to everyone (minimum age required – 14 years):

- Italian and foreign students
- Young and grown-up people interested in the “language of music”
- Beginners and advanced levels
- Individuals or self-composed groups
The course can be taught in Italian or English.

They say that the language of music is Italian, and there are several reasons to confirm it:
– Operas worldwide are predominantly sung in Italian.
– Recognized technical terms in the music field (“allegro,” “piano,” “vivace,” etc.) are in Italian.
– The Italian language is well-suited for singing due to its abundance of vowels and the position of the accents.
– Italian is a very melodic language.
In our Italian music history course, we will discover how language, culture, religion, and politics have contributed to the development of Italian music.

Our Italian music history courses can have personalized programs, established according to the needs and wishes of the participants. During the lessons, you will have the opportunity to work on the analysis musical works in their historical context and explore the artistic journeys of various composers through the study of their biographies, video viewings, multimedia content, and presentations.

The prices above are for individual courses, but upon request our Italian music history courses can also be organized as bi-individual as well as small groups courses.

Furthermore, an evening at the opera, concert or theater can be included at an additional price.

- During the months of February and March, discount of 10% (not combinable with other discouts)
